Alice
I wrote the song in late 1999 as a tribute to Alice Jones, my grandmother, who died in 1987. This version is just piano, guitar and voice, with Damon Mollenkopf doing all the vocals. The original version from Soul Kitch'n's Blue For Gray album, featuring the beautiful lead vocal by Victoria Bordner and the original "Aura Lee" guitar solo can be found here.

Tell Me
Written in 2001, featuring the original lineup of ÜberGroove: me, Damon, Bob DiGiacomo (bass) and Rob Heath (drums). It tells the tale of long-distance love. Well, kind of. Maybe love is a strong word. Recorded in June of 2002 at The Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, Ohio.

Blue For Gray
This was the title cut to Soul Kitch'n's 2001 release, featuring Victoria Bordner (lead vocals), Tom Bordner (drums), Bob DiGiacomo (bass), Damon Mollenkopf (backup vocals), and me on guitars, keyboards and percussion. This song discusses the realization that being with a certain someone on a cloudy day is better than being without her on a sunny day. The realization may come too late, though.

St. Louis
This is a later recording of a song originally released on Blue For Gray. It features Danelle Warner on lead vocals, Damon on background vocals, Jason Monro on bass, Andy Robbins on drums, and me on guitars and keyboards. What do you do with those photos and vacation videos of a former loved one? Cannot watch, cannot erase...
