Internet Jams

These are lead tracks I've done to backing tracks written by other excellent guitarists I've met on the Internet.

Clay Funk:
A Clay Harper jam done with Apple Garage Band. The guitar is a Fender Custom Shop Reissue '56 Strat straight into a Fender Deluxe Reverb amp for the two rhythm tracks and then an American Deluxe Telecaster straight into a Budda Superdrive 30 amp. No pedals were harmed (or used) in this track.

Clay's Minor Thing:
Another backing track by Clay Harper. This is an ash Telecaster straight into a Yamaha G100-112 amp.

Saturday Night Blues:
This backing track was constructed by Bill Rasmussen and is reminiscent of the closing-credits song from "Saturday Night Live." My performance uses a Gibson Les Paul Classic (into a Fulltone Fulldrive II, into a Fender Blues Deluxe amp) on the first and third choruses, and an alder Telecaster into a PODxt amp simulator on the second chorus.

"TFF Jam 5 (mellow)"
This backing track was recorded by the amazing George Eberlein and is one of my all-time favorites. The guitar used was an alder, 3-pickup Telecaster set to the neck pickup, with major compression from an MXR Dyna-Comp for that classic "squashed" sound. The overdriven guitar part is the same guitar's bridge pickup into a Fulltone Fulldrive II.
