Sharp Circle
I've been in Sharp Circle since August of 2004. The band consists of Scott Baldner on vocals, Aaron Bishara on percussion, Cory Cisler on drums, Jason Monro on bass and Rachel Wilkins on keyboards. You can click the link above to go to their detailed website, which includes lots of pictures, audio and video clips of the band.
456
Formed in February of 2008, 456 is a Jazz trio featuring Aaron Bishara on drums, Jason Monro on bass, and me on guitar. The repertoire is entirely Jazz standards--songs from Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Horace Silver, Sonny Rollins, Antonio Carlos Jobim, and dozens more. Watch the gigs page for our upcoming dates, and click the 456 link above this paragraph to listen to some demos.
ÜberGroove
ÜberGroove kind of started it all for my current musical career in this town. The band was formed by Damon Mollenkopf and I as in 2002 a vehicle for the groove-heavy music we both loved, along with bassist Bob DiGiacomo and drummer Rob Heath. When Bob and Rob moved out of town we eventually found ourselves with bassist Jason Monro and drummer Cory Cisler and we enjoyed several years of great, funky groove music. Cory and Jason were already in another band called Sharp Circle, and when Sharp Circle's guitarist left that band, it paved the way for me to do both bands as well. ÜberGroove has had other excellent musicians in it through the years as weel, including drummer Andy Robbins and vocalist Danelle Warner. Although currently on hiatus, ÜberGroove will likely be reappearing now and again for live shows when time allows. A belated album is expeceted to be released in 2009 as well of our best cover material and a few pc originals. Stay tuned!
